Supporters of DoveLewis Stray Animal and Wildlife Fund make a huge difference in these lives and many more. Hannah and all the injured or ill strays we see and treat at DoveLewis send a big thanks to those who so kindly support this fund!

Hannah, a blind stray Pug
Hannah, a blind stray Pug was brought to DoveLewis over the July 4th holiday weekend after she ran away from her North Portland home because she was so frightened by fireworks. She was found by a good Samaritan and brought to DoveLewis. DoveLewis scans all strays for microchips and posts photos of all strays on the lost and found page of our website, Thankfully, Hannah was successfully reunited with her family.

Stray injured parakeet brought to DoveLewis
This injured stray Parakeet who had a superficial abrasion - and another Parakeet - were found by a Good Samaritan at the same location in July. Both birds were brought to DoveLewis.
Summers are historically our busiest times in the hospital at DoveLewis. In July, we had quite a few domestic avian strays brought to DoveLewis in addition to injured small wild birds and wildlife we see here every month. All donations to DoveLewis' Stray Animal & Wildlife Progam make a big difference to the injured or ill animals who are brought to DoveLewis, enabling these animals to have a second chance.
Thanks for your support of the DoveLewis Stray Animal and Wildlife Fund.
