Update from our Jan 2011 Stop Malaria Campaign

By Timothy Kotin and Rajarshi Banerjee | Executive Directors

Dear Friends of Ahoto,

Have a look at the photographs below. Mary, Mark, David, Frank, Gertrude and Ebenezer are six of the many children in Ghana’s Cape Coast area who have benefited from our Stop Malaria Campaign. Today, they all have health insurance, which means that their parents no longer have to hesitate to take them to hospital if and when they fall sick with Malaria. As the results of our work become more and more apparent, are appreciation for your support only continues to grow.

Take a look at these young faces. They are among the many you have helped lead safer, more secure lives.

Currently, Ahoto is in talks with local organizations that work in the fields of agriculture and community development. Good health is the bedrock of every stable community, but by itself it does not lead to development. At Ahoto, we believe in small, practical projects that benefit the lives of the communities we serve.
