Nkaiti Ward with its 4 villages in Manyara Region in Tanzania; is affected by early marriages as 34% of girls are married before reaching the 18 years old. Early Marriages violates girl's rights to health, education and opportunity. It exposes girls to violence throughout their lives. This ward lack the awareness on the ills of early marriages; and the vulnerable families can't afford to provide school supplies to their daughter so they ended up on marrying off their daughter for a bride price
We educate Nkaiti's community members about the adverse ills of early marriage. Advocacy on sexual and reproductive health and rights in schools and communities. Providing school supplies, including school uniform,socks,shoes, bicycle and sanitary products to vulnerable teenager girls. Providing entrepreneur skills and hens to each marginalized families of marginalized teenager girls for enable them to secure some addition fund to support their daughter in school.
