Cholera is spreading fast in six DRC provinces due to unsafe drinking water, poor sanitation, and lack of medical care. Over 18,000 cases have been reported in 2025 alone. Families are losing loved ones simply because they lack access to clean water and treatment. Without immediate intervention, thousands more lives are at risk especially children.
We will provide clean water access, hygiene kits, and rapid-response treatment in cholera hotspots across six DRC provinces. With community health education, water purification tools, and trained local health workers, we will break the cycle of infection and save lives immediately while building long-term resilience.
By equipping communities with safe water systems and cholera prevention training, this project will protect future generations from outbreaks. Educated families stay healthier, children stay in school, and local clinics become stronger. Long term, we aim to reduce cholera fatalities by 80% and improve public health sustainably across eastern and central DRC.
