Child Sexual Abuse affects children from the earliest age but many adults find it difficult to address ways of explaining prevention to their children, thinking that it's too complicated too embarrassing or too scary.
We have designed an Activity Book aimed at children aged 4-6 using topics such as:
- emotions and feelings
- gender
- naming body parts
- private parts
- safe and unsafe touch
- secrets
- healthy habits
- safety rules
For the children it's all about colouring, mazes, joining pictures to words, a song, etc.
The real information is at the back for the parents or teachers in the form of a guide to help them get confortable with each topic as it comes up.
It is colourful and bright and fun and we hope to get our message across through the schools and book stores.
It will start off in English and next be traslated into local Indian languages: Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada etc.
