Child labour in India, especially West Bengal is the cheapest labour in the world. Children often work in hazardous condition. They are often found working in Zinc, Antimony, Aluminium die casting or cracker manufacturing factories. Due to poverty parents cannot provide the basic needs for their children. They send their child to work in local factories. While whole world is fighting for child rights we need to save them act now or it will be too late.
We have infrastructure to accommodate these rescued children in our newly constructed building. Well trained teachers, staffs and volunteers to educate them and Doctors for quarterly health checkup to bring these children into main stream, so they do not left behind from the rest of the community.
The project will bring overall development to 500 rescued children providing them education, food, medical and basic needs. Physical exercise, games, yoga, meditation will help them to come out of their past experience of bondage and begin normal life like other children. This project will support them till they are empowered to stand on their own.
