This quarter has been a time of change and growth for our work both in Kenya and the Domnican Republic. In Kenya we graduated our third class of girls. The class size was 20 and we serviced 24 of the girls children. Prior to graduation the girls attended a six week Internship to prepare them for employment and to expand their skills. The girls graduated after completing the 10 month program with excellence. They will now be preparing to take the Kenyan National Exam for Vocational Education.
Two of the Dominican Republic girls have completed the English prep class and is now preparing to take the English Language exam in the hopes of passing with a contingency to attend Bennett College in North Carolina, USA.
This quarter has been filled with excitement and excellence. We are honored to serve these girls and we thank each of you for continuing this journey with us!
