In our most recent outreach, Shoes That Speak Africa Initiative made remarkable progress in bringing comfort and dignity to underprivileged schoolchildren. With limited resources, we successfully purchased and donated 20 pairs of shoes to children in a rural Nigerian community. These children previously walked to school barefoot or with worn-out footwear, exposing them to injuries and infections.
Importantly, the $40 disbursed through GlobalGiving was used to purchase 6 sturdy pairs of sandals, directly benefiting 6 school-aged children. Each pair was carefully selected to ensure durability and comfort for daily use.
We remain committed to expanding this effort and reaching more children who desperately need protection for their feet and access to educational materials. The smiles and gratitude from our recent outreach remind us that even small acts can spark big change.
Thank you to all our supporters. Your continued belief in our mission fuels every step we take.
