Summary

Step up for tomorrow's leaders, is aimed at purchasing 2000 sandals for underprivileged children who walk barefooted or wear torn and worn out sandals to school with no educational materials such as books as a result of the poverty level in their families. Children that walk to school in this condition are expose to a lot of injuries, if not properly treated may lead to tetanus .

Challenge

There are more then 500,000 children who are living in abject poverty in rural areas of Nigeria this has affected the educational level of these children and also increase the level of drop out. Parents find it difficult to provide basic educational needs for the children such as school sandals and writing materials.

Solution

However,this project is aimed at purchasing and donations of school sandals for these children to be able to go to school with comfort and Joy and also boost their self confidence because every child deserves quality and good education. All donations to this fund will be use to purchase quality school sandals and be distributed in 20 communities across Nigeria.

Long-Term Impact

This project Step up for tomorrow's leaders is to see through this projects underprivileged kids in rural areas of Nigeria go to school in proper footwear there by increasing their desire for education. Every child deserve to be happy.
