Challenge

Students are graduating from college without the skills to compete in this globally competitive workforce. Our education system is continually being disrupted and we struggle as a nation to shift to embrace online learning and technology in the classroom. Despite its critical and growing importance, Computer Science is taught in only a small minority of U.S. schools. Most students are unaware of the career opportunities available in STEAM careers and lack the skills to compete.

Solution

Despite its critical and growing importance, Computer Science is taught in only a small minority of U.S. schools. Many students have a misconception of the value and power of understanding computer science. By providing the space for students to learn together and to collaborate on solving global problems through experiential learning we help students not only develop critical thinking skills and problem solving skills through failure and reflection, but we show them the possibilities for career

Long-Term Impact

Our facility will allow us to grow and growing will create not only economic impact, but long term impact for community members to sustain in STEAM careers resulting from our engagement with students. The facility would not only enable our organization to create a broader impact, but also create a sustainable revenue model from our paid programs and generate revenue from facilities membership fees, lease desk/conference rooms, meeting space, training rooms, pod-cast recording facility,
