Since the pandemic, N has lived with her uncles, who work every day to support the family. During the mornings, N takes on the responsibility of taking care of his younger brother, while her uncles are absent due to their jobs.
However, lack of resources and inadequate care have had a negative impact on N's health. It was then that they went to the María de Guadalupe Center and accessed the community dining room. N was referred to the nutritionist, and the diagnosis was delicate: anemia and malnutrition.
From that moment on, N's life began to change significantly. They began receiving nutritious meals and food supplements that made a noticeable difference in their health. Little by little, N and her uncles understood the importance of proper nutrition and how it affects their overall well-being.
Consultations with the nutritionist and food supplements became a fundamental part of her daily routine. Over time, her health improved considerably, not only physically, but also emotionally. N came to understand how much diet influences her mood and quality of life.
Although the pandemic is over, it is still affecting the most vulnerable groups, but thanks to the support of all of you we can continue to help the children who need it most!
Thank you very much!
