The May 28 Report is out!
Social media actions, collective care, and concerts and solidarity nights - it is with great pleasure that we present this year’s May 28 report on the actions undertaken by partners worldwide for the International Day of Action for Women’s Health. This year, SRHR activists, feminists, and allies all over the world have responded creatively and strongly as they reclaim physical spaces once more all the while strengthening movements online.
This year’s campaign is situated in a time of uncertainty and multiple crises that directly impacts women’s and girls’ health, and, particularly, their sexual and reproductive health. Hence, we called on SRHR activists and allies to #ResistAndPersist, and asserted that #SRHRisEssential and central to all crisis response.

WGNRR Africa brings together #SRHRActivistsinAction from East Africa for skills building workshops on busting stigma and strategic litigation
WGNRR Africa remains active in their engagements with #SRHRActivistsinAction. They held a stigma reduction workshop last March 2022 with young people that strengthened their capacities in tackling stigma on young people's SRHR including access to contraception and safe abortion, using a rights-based and reproductive justice framework. Another skills building workshop was conducted with reproductive rights defenders to explore the strategic litigation as a means to uphold and protect reproductive rights on a national scale.
