In 2025, Habitat & Education Promotion continued its mission to create healthier, more inclusive learning environments by expanding access to youth soccer programs across 24 elementary schools in rural Togo. This year, more than 350 students participated in interschool 5-zone soccer tournaments, bringing together children from different villages to compete, learn, and grow. These tournaments were more than games—they were opportunities for students to develop teamwork, resilience, leadership, and confidence in a fun, supportive setting.
Beyond the tournaments, our ongoing distribution of soccer balls and sports equipment reached over 3,000 students across all 24 partner schools. These materials help transform daily recess into an active, joyful, and healthy experience. Teachers report that students are more engaged, more physically active, and more connected to their peers thanks to structured play and shared activities.
The impact continues to spread. Soccer fields are becoming hubs of community energy, children are building friendships across backgrounds, and schools are reporting stronger attendance and improved social behavior as a result of regular sports engagement.
Looking ahead, we are entering an exciting phase of expansion.
Starting January 1, 2026, we will welcome six additional schools into our program—extending access to soccer training, equipment, and youth development opportunities to even more students in rural communities.
We are grateful for your continued support. Your partnership makes it possible for us to promote healthy habits, build inclusive communities, and empower the next generation of young leaders through the joy of soccer.
Together, we are nurturing talent, strengthening communities, and creating lasting impact on and off the field.
