Dear supporter,
Thank you for your kind donation to HERA, we know it will make a meaningful impact on young girls’ lives.
More than ever, Libyan girls face tremendous challenges, especially with the current political context. Many have lost family members due to war. Your donation will help HERA put a smile on their faces. It will enable HERA to continue its mission to change, develop, support and empower girls and young women through sports.
Thank you ever so much for supporting Libyan women. It truly means a lot, particularly now that it is so hard to access funds to help and support women in Libya.

Dear supporter,
Thank you for enabling HERA to stand up for young women’s, girls’ and youth’s right to play sport in Libya. With your support, HERA continues to use sport as an active learning tool focusing around issues of social cohesion, health and reconciliation.
Despite a very tense and fraught context given to the current political tensions, HERA continues to implement and endeavor to make a change for girls and young women in Libya.
After screening in festivals internationally, HERA’s biographical film, Freedom Fields, hit the UK cinemas this past June as a run-up to the Women’s World Cup. Future screenings include the Discover Football Festival 2019 - a week-long event for Women's Football and Culture in Berlin, Germany, the Polish Football Film Festival, and Docs Against Gravity in Poland. For upcoming UK screenings, please go here.
Join us in applauding HERA’s efforts in breaking down cultural barriers and uniting youth through sport despite the challenging setting they currently face.

Dear Supporter,
Thank you for standing up with HERA in developing young women, girls and youth in Libya. Your support has empowered HERA to keep using sport as an active learning tool around issues of social cohesion, health and reconciliation. Moreover, you have helped in enabling HERA to access incredible opportunities, such as screening their biographical film, Freedom Fields, at the Bilbao Football Club this past March.
Out of 200 competitors, HERA’s under 25 years-old leader was one of the selected winners for the Made to Play Fund, a collaboration between Gurls Talk, Nike and Women Win aimed to getting and keeping girls and young women in sport. She will continue to strengthen her leadership skills while delivering a football and life skills programme with a special focus on mental health. Additionally, she will share her experience with the rest of the winners during the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Paris this coming June.
And finally, thanks to the Embassy of Canada to Tunisia and your support, HERA will be able to extend their workshops in Tripoli’s schools and Internally Displaced People refugee camps.
Join us in celebrating HERA’s advances in breaking down cultural barriers and uniting youth through sport.
