Challenge

Many wheelchair users are talented and have passion to sports. However, lack of accessibility and enthusiastic sponsors in Egypt waste their potential and talents. Therefore, Alhassan Foundation established teams for its members in various sports to make use of their talents and develop their potential from athletes to champions.

Solution

The project solves the problem of lack of accessibility through our partnership with the National Bank of Egypt that owns two fully accessible clubs, which are available for our members to practice. Furthermore, we provide them with qualified trainers, training suits, transportation, and many other facilities.

Long-Term Impact

On the long term, wheelchair users would have a hub, where they can practice their favorite sports and activities. Furthermore, the wheelchair-users athletes would take part of the upcoming Paralympics games. Above all, such a project achieves inclusion for the differently abled.
