Dear Friends and Supporters,
Greetings and warm wishes from the BASS Team!
We are immensely grateful for your steadfast support over the past three years. This initiative to help bright students from underprivileged backgrounds access higher education has flourished because of your kindness. Currently, 17 deserving students are pursuing their professional dreams thanks to your generosity.
Celebrating Our Recent Successes
We are thrilled to share some remarkable milestones from our program:
Nursing Graduates: Our students, Masthanbi and Asha, have successfully completed their B.Sc. in Nursing with first-class honors! Both have already secured employment, standing as a proud example of what your support can achieve.
Engineering Success: One student has finished his B.Tech in Computer Science and is currently interviewing for professional roles. Another B.Tech student has secured a prestigious internship with a guaranteed job offer upon his graduation in July 2026.
Academic Excellence in Progress
Our current students continue to excel:
Computer Engineering: A bright young woman has completed her second year with excellent grades and is currently sitting for her third-year exams. She is also a leader in her college, serving as a lead anchor for cultural festivals.
Nursing: A dedicated student finished her second year of B.Sc. Nursing with distinction and is preparing for her upcoming third-year first semester exams.
Intermediate Studies: All eight of our students in the Intermediate program (MEC, MPC and Bi PC) groups) secured first-division marks! Three are currently coaching for the CA Foundation entrance exams, while others are preparing for EAMCET to secure engineering seats for the 2026-27 academic year.
Foundation Success: Two students recently passed their first year of Intermediate studies (BiPC and HEC groups), building a strong foundation for their future.
Launching a New Special Initiative: Support for 5 New Students
We have a major update: due to the urgent need in our community, we are starting a new, separate project specifically to support five girls who have just completed the 10th grade.
These girls are highly motivated but face heart-breaking family situations:
Three are being raised by single mothers.
One has no family support due to parental separation.
All come from backgrounds of extreme poverty.
To ensure they can focus on their studies and remain safe, we wish to admit them into residential colleges where boarding, books, and tuition are all provided. The cost per student is approximately $800 per year.
An Urgent Call for Support
While our impact is growing, our funding has slowed. Between January and April 2026, we received only $120 in donations.
To sustain our current 17 students and launch this new project for 5 more, we urgently need to bridge this gap.
How You Can Help:
Monthly Giving: Small, recurring donations provide the long-term stability these students need to graduate.
One-Time Gift: A single donation helps us cover immediate costs like admission fees and textbooks for the upcoming semester.
Your support is the bridge between a life of hardship and a bright, professional future. Thank you for believing in these "young miracles."
With heartfelt thanks,
The BASS Team
