Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF) is continuously working to support the education, empowerment, and skill development of deaf students across different cities. Our focus includes both religious and contemporary education, along with practical skill-building opportunities that help students become independent and confident members of society.
One of the major challenges our deaf students face is safe and reliable transportation. Many students previously struggled to reach their learning centers due to lack of transport facilities, which created both financial and accessibility barriers for their families.
With the support of GlobalGiving donations, local donors, and generous sponsors, we were able to successfully arrange one transport facility. This has made a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, allowing them to travel safely, with dignity, and without any financial burden.
We are deeply grateful for this support, as it has not only improved attendance but also brought peace of mind to families. However, the need is still much greater. We aim to provide similar transport facilities for all our centers so that every deaf student can access education without any difficulty.
