The project continues at full speed. In August, the five scheduled Saturday classes were held with an excellent attendance rate of 84%, marking the halfway point of the course. In September, the students took part in the "Rolê das Raízes e Futuros", including a Caminhada São Paulo Negra, guided by the collective Guia Negro. The activity offered an opportunity to delve into brazilian black history and broaden their understanding of identities, territories, and possible futures.
Also in September, the Second Mock Test of the course took place, gathering 127 students with the support of 18 team members, bringing the group closer to the long-awaited ETEC Exam. Another highlight was the traditional Career Day, held on October 18, which since 2018 has brought together former students and technical-course professionals to share experiences. The event welcomed around 200 participants and featured an inspiring talk by Thiago Torres, known as Chavoso da USP, reinforcing the importance of education and the journeys of students from the outskirts of the city.
Registrations for the ETEC exam took place between September and November, and the test was held on last Sunday 11/30. We are now eagerly awaiting the results, which will be shared in our next report.
See you soon!
