Sponsor the future of teenagers in Brasilandia

A lot of good things have happened since our last report.

In December, we had the closing party of the project at Formula E. In the same month, the students took the test called "vestibulinho" in and out of the 127 who took the exam, 91 students were approved at ETECs, technical schools ). This means we had an impressive approval rate of 72%! We broke our record in both percentage and absolute numbers. Of these 91 students, 3 were  also accepted at other institutions—two at the Federal Institute and one at the "Liceu de Artes e Ofícios". We also had one student who got a full scholarship at "Colégio São Luís". In other words, 92 young people directly impacted by our work!

At the beginning of February, we promoted the course at public schools in the region and began our pre-registration process with a socioeconomic analysis. We received 280 applications to fill the 160 available spots. This is an important part of ensuring we are serving our target audience, which consists of students from public schools in social vulnerability. The students who would be left out were referred to Responsa, which offers a free online course. This way, everyone who registered will have an opportunity to improve their studies.

In March, we had the first class with the students and parents! And now, the classes continue until December.
