Your Generosity Continues to Change Lives.

By Vimarie Monopoli | Resource Development

Dear friends,

This quarter, your generosity is reaching more children than ever. COANIQUEM continues to provide free, comprehensive rehabilitation to children who have survived burn injuries, and every gift you send through BCF helps make that care possible.

Here is where things stand:

  • 45 international children in treatment, with 3 new children joining the 42 already in our care
  • Puente Alto center on track to open before the end of 2026

Welcoming three more children

We are welcoming 3 more international children into treatment, bringing the total in our care to 45. They join the 42 children already on the path to recovery.

For each of these children, care goes far beyond healing wounds. It means surgery, therapy, and psychological support, all at no cost to their families. It means a chance to grow up moving freely, playing, and feeling at home in their own skin.

Puente Alto: opening before year's end

Our new Puente Alto center is expected to open its doors before the end of 2026. Puente Alto is one of the most populous communities in the Santiago area, and the center will bring rehabilitation closer to the families who need it most.

Shorter trips mean fewer missed appointments, and fewer missed appointments mean better recoveries. This center exists because supporters like you believed in it from the start.

Stay with us

The months ahead are some of the most important in this campaign's history, and we want you there for every step.

  • Stay connected. Watch for our next quarterly update, where we'll share news from the Puente Alto opening.
  • Keep giving. Recurring and one-time gifts made through BCF, our US 501(c)(3) partner, go directly to COANIQUEM's work.
  • Spread the word. Forward this update to a friend, colleague, or community group who would want to know these children's stories.

Thank you for standing with these children and their families. Together, we are giving them more than treatment. We are giving them their childhood back.
