ISKCON Varanasi, with the help of UMEED & HOPE WELFARE TRUST, is trying to help poor villagers afflicted with COVID-19 in arranging for oxygen cylinders. The beds in hospitals are full and there is a scarcity of oxygen cylinders in the whole country. Several patients need oxygen provision even at their homes as they struggle to breathe & pass this tough phase.
The second wave of COVID-19 has hit India very badly. Uttar Pradesh is among the worst affected states. Varanasi is struggling to cope with the pandemic. The beds in Hospitals are full, patients are not getting oxygen. The situation is critical. The Death cases are increasing. People are trying to arrange for oxygen cylinders in some way or other to save lives.
ISKCON, with the help of UMEED & HOPE WELFARE TRUST, is trying to help people who need to arrange oxygen cylinders for those affected with COVID-19 & unable to do so due to financial limitations. We are also providing basic health amenities (masks, sanitizers) to safeguard them against diseases.
We appeal to everyone to kindly team up with us, and provide financial support so that we can enhance this much-needed service to more and more people. We will be attempting to serve a maximum of people at Varanasi for the next few months. Please join us in this cause against Corona with your generous help. With this, every week we will be: (1) Helping in arranging Oxygen to 300 people (2) Basic health amenities (mask, sanitizers ) to more than 5000 people
