Marion lives in a rural, impoverished area in central Uganda and family is struggling to pay for food, health care bills, and school amidst her fathers illness. Marion 16 is in a secondary school level. Marion's mum does small scale farming in a small piece of land but only for home consumption, she sometimes sells what should have been eaten at home just to ensure Marion goes to school and yet is not enough to meet all of her needs.
Marion is 16 years old, she lives with her parents but her dad is ill and bed ridden, he was the only care taker, now that he is down, the family is vulnerable and some times goes without food, Marion recalls the days she has gone to bed on an empty stomach, she remembers the days she has had to miss school. Marion cannot live under these conditions since she is a growing girl, in Marions community, girls get married off at such age especially if they are living in hard conditions like this one
As a sponsor, your monthly recurring donation of $60 will help provide Marion with sustainable access to appropriate life-changing basics like nutritious food and a modest Education. When we pay her school fees and buy books, pens, pencils and uniforms for her, she will not miss classes any more, she will complete her education without any interruptions.
With a sponsorship, you can change Marion and her family's lives for the better. By contributing, you can make sure she continues to go to school and help care for her family. As a result, she can grow up healthy and strong and contribute back to his community.
