Education plays a vital role in human capital formation. It raises an individual’s productivity and efficiency, consequently producing skilled manpower that is capable of leading the path to sustainable economic development. Currently Pakistan’s literacy rate is ranked at 113th among 120 nations[i] which has hampered growth in all sectors of society.

Several factors have been identified as responsible for the education problems plaguing Pakistan. These include insufficient funding, lack of adequate implementation programs and teaching methods. This has in turn led to Pakistan showing one of the lowest literacy rates in the world.

Education is a fundamental human right and through the support of our donors in this quarter Fatima Memorial Hospital continues to spread this light amongst those who were deprived of this in the peri-urban areas of Lahore.

Recent glimpses of non-formal educational activities are available with this report

The support of our patrons has made it possible for us to educate over 18,000 children in Pakistan. Today, we request that you come forward and become a part of this initiative through your donations to educate, empower and to create a better future.
