The inflow of patients as well their attendants is rising day by day. Therefore, FMH needs more and more funds to provide meals for the underprivileged. In order for us to continue to provide meals to the rising number of patients/attendants, we rely on the generous donations of our esteemed donors. Hence, this project is created to raise funds in order to provide free meals to the underprivileged patients and their attendants.
At Fatima Memorial Hospital, 82% of the patients are provided healthcare either free of cost or on subsidized rates. These patients belong to the deprived communities of Pakistan who are unable to afford the basic necessities of life like food. Hence, we need to provide food to the patients and their attendants in order to ease their suffering.
FMH is operating a with a mission to provide quality healthcare to patients from all walks of life. By providing meals to the attendants of the underprivileged patients, we aim to ease the suffering of the destitute.
Pakistan ranked 77th out of a total of 112 countries in the Global Food Security Index of 2018. Pakistan has the second highest hunger score (32.6) in all of Asia after Afghanistan. Hence, we aim to improve the hunger score of Pakistan in the long run.
