Greetings,
The main update from the Anaweza team revolves around two events – one completed and one upcoming. We successfully hosted our second annual Anaweza Game Night in January where we exceeded our previous year’s attendance by almost double! It was a wonderful opportunity for our team to engage with new individuals and tell our story while enjoying fun activities with the group.
Our second big announcement is that we are hosting our second Anaweza Camp for all of our scholars in Kenya this coming August. It will serve as a reunion with previous volunteers and as an introduction to many new volunteers that will join us to connect firsthand with the children that we serve. We will continue to build this wonderful community and use this camp as an example of how far we have come in our mission as well as a milestone marker in the ongoing journey forward.
As we always say in these reports on our progress, Anaweza is a movement—a movement to uplift, empower, and transform. With continued support and unwavering faith, Anaweza will shine as a beacon of hope, proving that through education, dreams can indeed come true.
