Every child deserves a secure home, a loving family, and access to education. WPC Nepal is dedicated to ensuring safety and protection for these children. The Child Safe Home serves as a nurturing facility that cares for orphans and vulnerable children who are at risk of human trafficking and other forms of exploitation. Our goal is to provide a supportive family environment and ensure that every child receives an education.
Human trafficking and child exploitation continue to be pressing issues in Nepal. Thousands of children are vulnerable due to poverty, lack of education, and unsafe conditions. Children from marginalized communities often miss out on schooling, safety, and basic care, making them easy targets for traffickers. Without targeted interventions, these children are at risk of experiencing cycles of abuse and exploitation, which perpetuate poverty and social inequality.
This project provides a Safe Home in Hetauda, Nepal, for children at risk of trafficking or those who have been rescued. At the Safe Home, they receive shelter, nutritious food, education, and emotional support in a loving and secure environment. By meeting their basic needs and ensuring access to education, the project helps protect them from future exploitation and empowers them to build a more secure and better future.
Supporting children in the WPC Safe Home breaks the cycle of poverty and vulnerability that leads to trafficking. By providing a safe environment, meals, and education, these children gain knowledge and confidence for a better future. Ultimately, they will lead independent lives, contribute to their communities, and help prevent trafficking through awareness. This investment creates lasting change for individuals and future generations.
