Dear GlobalGiving Community,
Joy of Community Foundation continues to push forward with updating our sponsorship program. As many of us know, global economic struggles continue to impact the already precarious circumstances of families living in Engari, Uganda. In consultation with our Ugandan team members, we have chosen to both increase monthly sponsorship fees and focus general funding on maintaining our education and healthcare programs.
At times like this, it is important to also reflect on the excellent work the Joy of Community network has done so far: clean water sourcing, school infrastructure improvements, over 40 children able to stay in school despite financial hardship, and countless families supported through our healthcare and nutrition programs. We encourage you all to continue sharing our message, as our international JOCF teams work together to sustain the resources we have established thus far. Every dollar makes a difference as JOCF continues to tackle the evolving needs of the Engari community.
