For Qaiser Bano, a 47 year old woman, declining health was slowly becoming a source of fear and uncertainty. She had been experiencing persistent body weakness and noticeable weight loss, and the worry of not knowing what was wrong was weighing heavily on her. When she finally visited the clinic, the doctor assessed her carefully. Investigations revealed alarmingly high blood sugar levels, with her Random Blood Sugar recorded at 530 mg/dl and HbA1c at 11.1%, confirming poorly controlled diabetes. For a woman who had simply come seeking answers, the diagnosis was difficult to absorb.
She was enrolled in the Diabetes Management Program in September 2025 and was immediately started on treatment. Alongside medication, she was receiving nutrition counseling on lifestyle changes, a balanced diet, and reduced sugar intake. On the doctor's advice, she also underwent an eye examination, where signs of Diabetic Retinopathy were identified and timely treatment was begun. For the first time, Qaiser was not just being handed a prescription she was being given a clear path forward.
Qaiser was following her treatment plan with dedication, attending every follow-up and making meaningful changes to her daily routine. Within four months, her HbA1c had improved remarkably from 11.1% to 6.4%, a result that reflected both her commitment and the consistent support of the clinic team. She was growing stronger and healthier with every passing week. The woman who had once walked in feeling lost and unwell now leaves with a grateful heart, thankful for the care that had helped her regain control of her health and her future.
