Girls Remain Out of School Due to Poverty

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Sponsor 1 Year of School for Underrepresented Girls project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned school sponsorship has not yet begun.

Across many low-income and rural communities in Nigeria, thousands of girls have never had the chance to attend school. Many are engaged in housework, street vending, or farm labor instead of learning in a classroom.

The cost of tuition, uniforms, and books remains a major barrier for families. Without support, these girls continue to miss out on basic education and future opportunities.

This project is designed to support 2,500 girls by covering one full year of schooling, including tuition, uniforms, textbooks, and writing materials. Each girl will be enrolled in a nearby school and given the opportunity to begin formal education.

With the right support, these girls can take their first step into learning, build confidence, and open the door to better opportunities ahead.

We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this project can begin and reach girls who need access to education.

Thank you for your kindness and continued support.

Sincerely,

Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
Project Leader
