Sphoorti Campus Project

Thank you friends for supporting all our initiatives to add and extend infrastructure in the Sphoorti Campus in Dundigal.

We have been very fortunate that our children get the best of facilities because people like you care.

This year, we have three big projects lined up.

1. We are planning to construct a new Hostel Block to accommodate 100 more children. In the next one year, we will be adding more than 75 underprivileged girl children. To provide accommodation to these children, we will need more space. We plan to build a hostel block measuring 8000 sq.ft.. The total cost is expected to be around 1.6 cr + GST. We will try to complete the building in 12 months.

2. Laptops for Undergraduate students
We have 42 students pursuing Undergraduate studies -BTech, BCom, BSc, BPharm and LLB. 30 students are in immediate need of laptops.
A Laptop useful for an Engineering student costs close to Rs 50000. We will need Rs 15 L for these laptops.

3. We are planning an Indoor Gaming Space, something as big as an auditorium. Our goal is to introduce kids to some good sports, and in this space, we plan to have Carrom Boards, Indoor Badminton, Table Tennis, Foosball, Yoga, and Chess.

Many students come to us with psychological trauma, and sports have been instrumental in alleviating it. The doctors who conduct routine check-ups have noticed significant improvements since we introduced sports at school. Most of our children have expressed a strong desire to continue with sports, and we have witnessed a significant increase in interest over the last couple of years.
