Pay Assessment Fees for Special Needs Children

Dear Donors,

First, let me just say, thank you on behalf of the Directors of Raise Your Voice Saint Lucia!

Your recent donation means that you understand just how valuable children with cognitive or physical challenges can be. Although your donation may seem small to the average person, you know that they are not. That's why you gave, and why special needs kids and their parents are full of gratitude for your generosity.

Donors like you help make medical checkups, therapeutic sessions and other critical needs possible, and ensure that our organisation continues to offer assistance to special needs children and their families who could not, otherwise, afford these life-enhancing interventions.

We encourage you to speak to your friends and family about the importance to assist special needs children who has lost funding from the state, those who are unemployed or marginalized need our help.

We want to assist the ones who cannot help themselves by also providing disposible disapers, wipes, grocery, wheelchairs, and other items which will assist in making their lives a little better. 

We see the standard of living some of these families and children have to endure and we want to make their lives just a little better.

Special Needs Children Funding was cut out in this year's budget, this situation has left special needs families who are not financially empowered without the necessary assistance to get critical health assessments and checkups, ability to provide personal care items such as disposible diapers, bibs, physical therapy and assistive devices such as wheel chairs and other mobility aids.

Raise Your Voice Saint Lucia Inc is fundraising to assist those marginalized and vulnerable families whilst advocating that the Government of Saint Lucia restore funding assistance to special needs children as quickly as possible.

We have raised US$557 from 13 donors, we are aiming for US5,000 from 40 donors by September 29th, 2017 to remain eligible on the Global Giving Platform and to raise much needed funds for special needs children.

If you have already donated, we ask that you share this fundraiser with friends, families and co-workers and encourge them to donate and share as well.
