During the global pandemic, most countries in Southern Africa went into a hard lock down in March 2020. This left many people loosing employment and facing the threat of food insecurity. Loss of income also meant the inability to have hand sanitisers and face masks. HOPE Africa has been working in partnership with communities to raise funds for food distribution, food vouchers, clothing distribution and the distribution of santisers and masks.
People have lost their jobs during the global pandemic. There is rising hunger.
Allow households to have food, clean water, PPE's and the ability to start home gardens. This will ensure that children are fed and able to attend school.
Reduced poverty and inequality.
