The goal we set for this pilot program is so close!
We can't thank you enough for your contributions that will allow Pets of the Homeless to offer spay/neuter to our many homeless clients that call us.
When a pet is seen at a hospital for an emergency we encourage the doctor to talk to the owner about spay/neuter and educate them on the benefits. If approved by the owner we pay for the alteration along with the treatment for the emergency.
Again, thank you for your support!
Pictured is Eli. He lives with his owner in a trailer without utilities. He was suffering from a fox tail in his ear. The doctor had to use anesthesia to remove it. While Eli was under he was neutered and vaccinated.
