Greetings,
Since our last report in May, Eswatini has passed through the third wave of Covid-19. The number of infections was very high as were the number of related deaths. Our country's vaccination programme is now underway and we hope that by the time the fourth wave hits, we will be better prepared.
Consequently, our Spay/Neuter Clinics have been put on hold yet again and we are hoping to be in a position to hold them in 2022, drugs and manpower being available.
In the interim we continue to carry out sponsored Spay/Neuters from our shelters for those who are not in a position to fund these themselves. This activity will help the needy within the urban/peri-urban corridor between Mbabane and Manzini (our two main towns), where the overpopulation of dogs is prevalent.
We wish to thank you for your continued support, as without it we are unable to carry on with our rural Spay/Neuter Clinics.
Please spread the word amongst your friends and families as we would really like to increase our support base.
