Meet Smokey, a beautiful ash-colored female cat whose hind legs were badly injured. She was rescued along with her four kittens by Blue Cross of India. After a prolonged treatment, she finally recovered and has been vaccinated and spayed. She has been transferred to the shelter and has settled down there.
Another inspiring cat is Ash. He has been abandoned by his owner and was rescued by Blue Cross of India. Both her hind legs are injured and she walks with some difficulty. She has also been spayed and relocated to the shelter.
Animal birth control has now become the topmost priority at the shelter. Every day, cats are being spayed and more than sixty sterilizations are done every month. We are thankful for your generous donations which makes all this possible. We hope to increase our sterilizations of both cats and dogs in the future.
