Pictures speak a thousand words as the saying goes. This is true for cats in the shelter. Our cats are happy, healthy and safe. The cats are vaccinated and neutered. They spend their days happily roaming around in the facility, as we beleive that cats need freedom to express their natural behaviour. You, the donor, made it happen!.You can see for yourself in the attached pictures. These cats have nowhere to go and no place to call their home. Many of these cats have been rescued from hospitals which have a strict 'no animal 'policy. Sadly, cats are still being abandoned in our shelter and we try our level best to find them homes and give them a good life.
The progress in the past three months has been tremendous. We have neutered 100 cats and safely rehabilitated them. We have also rescued and treated more than 100 street cats. Our newest arrival is Salie who has injured her front and hind legs. She is presently undergoing treatment and doing well. Salie is malnourished and needs special attention. Salie would not have a chance at survival in the outside world. At Blue Cross we are able to rescue and treat these homeless animals. This has been made possible because of the donations that we receive from kind-hearted donors like you.
