Over the last few months, cats rescued from hospitals, offices and gypsies have been trickling into the shelter on a regular basis. Fifteen cats were apprehended from gypsies and brought to the shelter. They have been spayed and are now with other cats in the cattery. On an average, every week 2-3 cats are abandoned. This puts a strain on our already stretched budget. Thanks to your donations, we were able to take in the cats, spay, feed and care for them.
A special mention is being made of "Mousey", a one-year-old female cat who was abandoned by her owner. She later developed a bacterial infection which led to her face becoming swollen. She was treated successfully for the infection and is now recovering from the minor surgery. Every cat has a happy tale but all this cannot be possible without your support.
We are grateful for your donations and look forward to your continued support
