Dear Donors,
The last three months have been hectic with numerous rescues and stertilization. The hot summer months are upon us and we are hard at work in making the difficult months pleasant for the animals. In this report, I would like to mention two remarkable rescues.Blackie and MJ are two cats rescued by the Blue Cross of India. Blackie lost his right paw and his left foreleg was also badly crushed. MJ's foreleg was hurt badly and he was dragging it.
The cats were fostered and treated. MJ was also diagnosed with a respiratory disease. The infection was first treated and then his leg was amputated. Now he is back in the Blue Cross shelter and is among several amputees. Blackie treatment and rehabilitation is a prolonged process. His leg has been operated upon and a fixator fastened. He needs cage rest for 3 months. His open wound is healed well and now he is on the road to recovery. Blackie is very sweet natured and never complains that he is in a cage.
These lovely cats have a second chance due to your kind donations. We hope we can continue treating these remarkable animals with the help of your donations.
We are grateful for your help
