Spay/neuter 500 cats and dogs in Chennai project, which you have so generously supported, is happy to share the work done for the months of April and May 2013. This could not have been possible without your support! The Chennai city is on a drive to sterilize as many street dogs as possible. The veterinarians of Blue Cross of India are doing tremendous work by tirelessly operating on the dogs and providing good post-operative care. In April and May, 2714 dogs and 95 cats have been sterilized. In addition, numerous cats and dogs have been treated and released.
Snoopy, a brown and white mongrel, had a severe paw injury and was roaming in the streets with great difficulty. He was trapped after a great effort by the Blue Cross of India team. After successfully undergoing treatment, he was neutered and released. Now he is happily back on the streets.
We are grateful for your support once again. We continue to seek support to help more and more street animals.
