Dear Donor,
The year 2012 has been a great year for the Blue Cross of India. We had reached our goal of raising $10,000 to spay and neuter street dogs and cats in Chennai. We are very grateful to each one of you for so generously donating for this noble cause. We have sterilized more than1000 dogs and cats and we plan to sterilize another 1000 animals in 2013. Everyday we read in the news that numerous dogs in the surrounding areas of Chennai are culled. To prevent this tragedy, we need to step up our efforts to sterilize dogs and cats.
We hope 2013 will usher in a better quality of life for the animals. We will relentlessly continue our efforts to sterilize the street dogs and cats and treat sick animals. We share with you the story of Bandit, the calico cat. She was rescued with both her hind legs broken. At present, she is undergoing treatment and we hope she will be able to walk again with prosthetic legs. Numerous sick and injured dogs and cats are treated at the Blue Cross and then sterilized before putting them back on the streets. Your donation helps us help these hapless animals.
We wish you a happy 2013. Thank you for making animals happy
Yours sincerely,
Sudhersena
