This project provides tuition scholarships for youth from the eastern Valley of Mexico facing economic hardship, ensuring their access to and continuity in higher education. Through TUVCH's holistic model, students develop personally and professionally, fostering social justice and building fairer, more peaceful communities.
In Valle de Chalco, one of the most marginalized and insecure municipalities in the State of Mexico, over 184,000 youth are of school age, yet only 28,000 access higher education. High dropout rates, violence, and exclusion perpetuate inequality, limiting the professional, personal, and community development of young people in the region.
Through its Scholarship Fund, TUVCH provides financial aid so low-income students from the Eastern Valley of Mexico can access and remain in university. Its comprehensive educational model fosters professional skills, personal growth, and social responsibility, ensuring tuition costs are not a barrier and enabling education to drive personal and community transformation.
Reaching our goal will fund 20 full annual tuitions for low-income youth from the Eastern Valley of Mexico, ensuring sustained access to higher education. This will improve their living conditions and those of their families, enable them to aspire to better personal and professional opportunities, and help strengthen community well-being, foster social cohesion, and promote lasting positive change.
