Following the June 24th earthquake in Venezuela, the emotional and physical aftermath is severely affecting the community, particularly neurodivergent and disabled children and adults. This microproject will provide emergency medical care, psychological support, and comprehensive therapies (speech, occupational, and psychopedagogy). Additionally, we will acquire crucial sensory regulation materials to help manage trauma and sensory overloads during this crisis.
Natural disasters shatter safe spaces. By providing direct medical consultations, therapies (psychology, occupational, speech, and educational) to process trauma, and sensory kits-including headphones, chewies, weighted vests, and toys-to offer immediate safety and calm. / Consultas medicas, terapias (psicologia, ocupacional, lenguaje y psicopedagogia) para procesar el trauma, y kits sensoriales (audifonos, mordedores y chalecos de peso) para dar seguridad y calma inmediata a los que los necesiten.
