Dear Donor
I am delighted to report that we have achieved our aim and have funded 3 new defibrillators for our area.
Our thanks goes to Olympian Mark Foster who was delighted to help us promote our project.
One Defibrillator has already been installed at Practical HR, 34, Star Lane, Great Wakering SS3 0FF.
The remaining 2 will be installed iminently at the Anglian Water Board building, Eastern Esplanade, Southend SS1 3AA opposite Lifstan Way and the Public Toilets situated at , 50, Thorpe Esplanade, Southend SS1 3BA opposite Thorpe Hall Avenue.
All defibrillators are available 24/7 and I am able to report that we have had 2 instances of the defibrillators already installed as part of this project being deployed.
Please can I give a heartfelt thanks from all of us at Thorpe Bay Rotary for the generous donations and support we have received for this project.
Our work will continue as we roll out awareness training on using defibrillators and no doubt we will be back next year with the aim of funding more defibrillators to improve accessability for all.
For those of you that made anonymous donations, please remain assured that your identity is protected by GlobalGiving and it is only through them that we can make this report.
THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR FANTASTIC SUPPORT AND DONATIONS.
