We can’t thank you enough for reaching out, and helping displaced families in South Sudan. You’re making a tangible difference in their lives, and giving them hope when they need it most.
As a reminder, these precious people have been robbed of almost everything. They lost their homes, and livelihoods when tribal violence swept through their communities, and now they’re desperately trying rebuild their lives, and earn meaningful incomes.
It’s still a very challenging time for these families. The violence and civil unrest continues to plague the country, and countless families are still seeking help at the temporary camps. Despite this, we want you to know that your gifts are getting through, and making a tangible difference.
You’re providing real help, and giving these families hope when they need it most. The biggest challenge continues to be the dire need for food, water, and shelter. Many families live in deplorable conditions, exposed to the rain and lacking any kind of privacy.
But we want you to know that you’re helping them. Your generosity has already given plastic sheeting, bedding, and, other materials to more than 720 of the most needy families. And every day more, and more people are benefiting from your support.
We are so grateful for you, and want to humbly thank you on behalf of the hundreds of families that you’re supporting through this difficult time.
