Gift of the Givers and the Jubbaland State of Somalia Authority have swiftly responded to urgent appeals for emergency water assistance in flood-affected villages near Kismaayo.
Villages such as Koban, Bangini, Bula-gaduud, and others were severely impacted, lacking wells for both the community and livestock. Gift of the Givers has delivered clean water, addressing the immediate needs of displaced individuals in these villages. Jojo tanks and mobile water treatment facilities have been deployed to ensure the safety of the provided water, thereby reducing the risk of waterborne diseases.
Gift of the Givers has swiftly responded to the needs of the residents.
The project has been deactivated in order to raise funds for the hunger alleviation projects in Somalia.
