Hello! We are Suyay (means Hope in Quechua). Our passion is to help children and adults with disabilities improve their life quality. We have developed an advanced and low-cost technology to make transradial prostheses through the use of a 3D scanner, 3D printers and environmentally friendly materials, fully functional and comfortable. We are a high-tech Startup with a social sense, we won recognition from Unicef within the Top 25 Startup.
Prostheses are expensive and for people with disabilities, they are the most important tool in their life. They are not comfortable, and psychologically it is difficult to accept them. Imagine a child that needs prostheses and gets an uncomfortable one after some time waiting for it and also doesn't know how to use it. We want to improve their experience.
We give people prostheses that adapt to them, they have a beautiful design adapted to their preferences, we deliver it in an event with their families, and help them with an educational and psychological program so they can accept and take advantage of its functionalities. We found a way to create low-cost and environmentally friendly prostheses through technology.
