Testimony of Victor and his parents regarding Soleil Rouge hospital clowns
"At first, I didn't like the clowns. They made me scared. And then, we tamed each other. Through the window, then at the foot of the bed – dressed with mobcaps and hospital uniforms on their incredible clown clothes - until being there, even in the most difficult times.
With the clowns, I could finally be in the kingdom of pee poop! I could leave my hospital room without leaving it. What did we laugh the day when, during a lumbar puncture, they bottled farts! That day rang like the court of miracles! This was all nonsense, but a wonder all the same. Nonsense in a controlled world.
Because the clowns of Soleil Rouge are not just clowns. They are magicians. Ones of those that offer transgression, that make us being children before sick persons. That's why we love them so much."
