The solar system that was installed in 2012 is in good working order. Some students, nearly all males, are now returning to the school to study at night. The headmaster of the school has expressed the need for brighter lights when possible so that more students can effectively use the lights. He has asked the school board to share in the cost with the school, TanzSolar and its donors.
Some of the teachers' home systems have experienced problems due to bad switches. TanzSolar will make every effort to assist them. TanzSolar is also planning to assist 5 girl students with small solar lights for reading because they are not able to return to the school safely at night.
Thank you for helping us make it possible for these students and teachers to learn, teach and grow no matter what time of day it is. Help us take this opportunity to more teachers and students by giving what you can.
