TanzSolar’s second Global Giving project; Solar Electricity for an African School, is 8% funded with $11,135 left to go. To our 17 donors, we thank you for getting this project off to a good start. We are looking forward to electrifying our first Secondary School in the Musoma Rural District.
Only a small percentage of the youth of Tanzania get to go to secondary school, about 6%. These students are motivated and are doing their best to get an education, however the infrastructure is not supporting them or their teachers. As we continue with this projects, and more like it to follow, we expect to show how much of an impact having electricity and internet access can make on the education of these young women and men. Your support will make it happen. Thank you, and please tell your friends about this project. We are only $11,135 away from our first solar-electric secondary school.
