Imagine a child who wants to read, revise for an examination or complete homework, but darkness makes it difficult or impossible.
This remains a reality for many children in rural communities where schools have limited or no access to reliable electricity.
We believe access to light is an important part of creating an environment where children can learn with confidence. That is why we are calling on donors around the world to support our Solar Schools Uganda project.
By installing solar power systems in rural schools, we can help create brighter classrooms and extend opportunities for learning beyond daylight hours.
